1 Peter 1: 13-25

  • Pick out 8 amazing truths from verses 1-5 that God has done for us. These form the foundation of our living hope and therefore motivates our conduct. (Matt read from the NASB translation)
  • Peter gives us 3 things in verse 13 that we need to do in order to not be conformed to our former way of life
    1. Prepare our minds for action
    2. Keep sober in spirit
    3. Fix our hope completely on the grace of Christ
Talk about these 3 things personally and how you find putting them into action.
  • Peter talks in verses 23-25 about the precious imperishable seed that is in us from when we believed, that is constantly producing eternal, imperishable fruit. What fruit can you see Christ working out in your life and the church?
  • Pray for each other that you’d see more eternal fruit, and value highly what Christ is continuing to do in your life.
